Cleaning Wooden Window Frames

Alternatively use biological wash powder diluted in warm water. If your window frames are particularly grubby and washing up liquid isn t quite cutting it add a teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda to give it a little more kick. To properly clean wooden windows frames. Hydrogen peroxide is a good option for removing it from wooden frames and sills. Fill a bucket with 1 gallon of warm water and add 2 or 3 teaspoons of laundry detergent. This is particularly good for removing organic matter such as bird droppings and plant sap.

The liquid penetrates the porous material and is anti fungal and anti bacterial. This will loosen dirt and dust making the cleaning process go smoother. Let it air dry the rest of the way afterward.
